It was so amazing to have my family here in Italy. It has been really difficult having them so far away for such a long time. It was their first trip to Europe so they got to see how different things are here. This is a picture of my Dad inside Santa Croce church a block from my house. He is standing in front of the tomb of Galileo. Next to that tomb is the tomb of Michelangelo. 
We were at the Vatican two days after Christmas and got to listen to the Pope speak! I was very surreal. Click on the picture to make it bigger, you can see the pope better.
